our new shala: some (re)opening memories, in pictures

What a joy it was to share the weekend together and (re)open our new community shala - the Sanskrit word for ‘home’.

As many of you know, we hand-built the space, from walls to floors to doors and murals, all designed with the intention for simplicity, flow, and ease - so that you can touch into your practice, while feeling right at home.

These pictures only capture a fragment of the celebration, connection, flow and remembrance experienced. Thank you so much to Nick for capturing these, to every single pair of hands and hearts who helped out along the way, our mystery delicious-treat makers, and to everyone who came along for your presence!

If you haven’t yet joined us - a welcome extends to whenever time is right. We’ve had almost 3 weeks of classes since then, and many more to come. Looking forward to making new memories, gathering with new faces and familiar friends, and crafting even more deep-delving experiences as we journey onwards, together~
